Maha Shivarathri on March 8

Maha Shivaratri is being celebrated on March 8 this year.
Tridalam Trigunakaram Trinetramcha Triyayudham;
Trijanma Papa Samharam Eka Bilvam Sivarpanam.
In this connection, you can see the entire list of 274 Siva Temples across India (and a couple of them in SriLanka) from my personal website at http://vdeepakkumar.netfirms.com/

Inspiration: During the visit to Tenkasi, (as part of the Sabarimala tour), I saw the network of Siva Temples displayed there as a photograph. I was inquiring whether there is any detail in website/book but there does not seem to be so. Hence I thought for the benefit of pilgrims world over, I would try to bring this section.

Please do check out the same and send in your feedback and comments to me.

Harivarasanam from my homepage

Just updated my homepage a bit. If you get an opportunity to visit my homepage between 11.00 and 11:10 hours (your timezone), you would automatically get the song of Harivarasanam popped up as a child window in your desktop. This needs clientside ActiveScripting (JavaScript) to be enabled in your desktop. Make sure your popup blocker allows popups to be opened for http://vdeepakkumar.netfirms.com/
I am trying to expand this section more and to refine this by providing more granular sections like Suprabatham for visits during the early hours like timings between 0300 and 0500 etc.

Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa!

New Updates to my Personal Homepage

Just check out http://vdeepakkumar.netfirms.com/ which is my personal homepage and I have tried to update some new sections over there. WebKennel Neighbors -- Some interesting and useful links to other websites in my (geographical) neigborhood.Siva Temples -- During my visit to Sabarimala and on the way back, we had a darshan @ Tenkasi and I saw a list of 274 Siva Temples spread around the world (typically Asia Pacific region). I asked them whether any booklet is available there but they told only that photograph is there and no sale copy and no books. Just thought in my freetime, I could do some research on these and have them published to my homepage for the benefit of pilgrims worldwide and hence this Siva Temple Network project in WebKennel has begun.
And also that I am trying to compile information on some of the regional temples here and I would try to publish them onto 'Temples around Chennai'. Do check out these sections and send your feedback to me.
