Dear Team,

I was trying to register to Sri Ahobila Mutt Portal but after submitting the details at the following URL (http://www.ahobilamutt.org/us/login/register.asp) it throws the following error:

CDO.Message.1 error '8004020c'

At least one recipient is required, but none were found.

/us/includes/email.inc, line 26

Can you get the appropriate web development team to fix the error please?

Thanks and Regards,

Deepak Kumar Vasudevan

#VENS -- (V)oluntary (E)rror (N)otification (S)ystem

Whenever we find something amiss, it is always a good gesture to be proactive in helping out the victims by informing them or taking them to a safe place away from the issue. On the cyberspace front, I just thought of creating a system called VENS -- Voluntary Error Notification System where when we find something we can text/email/fax the victim or appropriate authorities so that suitable redressal action be taken.

Please note that VENS should be purely voluntary in nature and no duress or force be appearing in any form. Also no monetary or remuneration is guaranteed for helping out and/or is not entertained either. The humble and good intent is to help everyone grow in a positive perspective away from the lot of mess ups and miss outs.

This was conceptualized in 2010 and a few incidents were reported however due to time constraints and other factors it was dropped. I am trying to rejuvenate the same here.

An opportunity to donate blood ...

Last wednesday (13th April 2016) there was a blood donation camp organized in our campus.  I have been eager for the past week to participate although a little fear regarding extraction of blood was present.  They did the following checks like HB (HaemoGlobin) count, body temperature, pressure etc. One condition was should not have done a root canal treatment or dental extraction. Fortunately in my case this is a future plan so I was eligible to donate.

When the syringe was applied and blood was being taken out, I had no issues. However, no sooner the syringe was taken out than a black cloud of darkness surrounded with bouts of unsurmountable giddiness. The paramedical staff helped with a couple of fans and first aid to overcome the giddiness which took around 30 minutes to subsede.

Purging of unneeded data card numbers. Thanks for assistance from @VodafoneIN and @BSNLCorporate

It happens at times that we end up getting superflous SIM cards and they remain inactive in our names. And interestingly our service providers are not willing to listen for churn/deactivation if it happens to be prepay services. For me I had four such numbers with the following providers:

  1. Vodafone Data Card Number obtained in 2013. They confirmed churned and out of my name as of 21st March 2014
  2. BSNL Data Card Number obtained in 2014. They confirmed churned and out of my name as of December 2015
  3. Vodafone Standby Number obtained in 2015 during the issue of 'Gender Harassment'. Pending confirmation from Vodafone
  4. Datacard Standby Number obtained from BSNL in early 2015. Ported to Aircel for a while. Ported to Idea Cellular for a while. Idea Cellular did not now how to deactivate churn. So ported to Vodafone in 2016 and requested deactivation and churn. Process of churn in process.
