Thiruvannamalai Deepam Today
The world famous 'Thiruvannamalai Deepam' is lighted today in the hills of Thiruvannamalai. Morning was today is 'Bharani Deepam' and towards evening they would light the 'Maha Deepam'. Today, while coming through Tambaram, I could see a record number of buses crowding and all bound for 'Thiruvannamalai'. All roads lead to Thiruvannamalai today! For Sri Vaishnavite, the variant of Thiruvannamalai Deepam, which is observed as Pancharatra Deepam is celebrated on 5th December 2006.
