Sabarimala Trip by Shri Ranga Travels and Tours India

Sabarimala Trip by Shri Ranga Travels and Tours India

It was about in 2005 December 1, when attending the Ayyappa Bhajan by Veeramani Raju at Congress Grounds, Teynampet, I came to know about the travel and tour services by Shri Ranga Travels and Tours India Limited. My previous year Sabarimala trip was actually organized by them. This year, I got the pamplet from them regarding the various tour programmes that they are planning for Sabarimala (Mandala Pooja and Makara Jyothi) and have compiled them below. I would like the readers to share this information with other Ayyappa devotees and friends so that they can also benefit from these programmes.

And by the way, I would also like to share the information that just yesterday I saw the big hoarding in front of Congress Grounds, Teynampet (Kamaraj Memorial Hall) that Veeramani Raju's Ayyappa Bhajans is scheduled on December 1, 2006.

Ayyappa (48-day) Observation -- Rules and Restrictions

Ayyappa (48-day) Observation -- Rules and RestrictionsOne of my friend was suggesting me this -- "Why can not you put up some kind of blog post or an article summarizing the 48 day observation rules to be observed. Well. I had a small pocketbook and a couple of PDFs circulating in the emails. Most of the rules normally are hearsay from our elders to us. As my friend suggested, today since I was relatively free, just thought I would update it as bullet points, so that future Ayyappa Swamis  can immensely benefit from the same. While my pocket books are in Tamil, I am attempting to compile the same in English. Should you find discrepancies, share your thoughts and observations as comments. Most of the rules and observationary regulations are purely for our own control and development -- to streamline our day-to-day chores. All round the work time, keep your mind only focused on the Lord. Even the work you do is being instrumented by the Lord. Dedicate the same to the Lord.  Perhaps, Bh…

"Arindhum Ariyamalum" Sloka

"Arindhum Ariyamalum" Sloka

There was one Swami (Karthik) who had expressed a bit of dejection since on a particular day, he could not wake up early and he was feeling a bit down as expressed over here. As far as my little information goes, I think, our guruswami's have taken these issues into consideration and the Arindhum Ariyamalum sloka that we recite accomodates for all these mistakes that are committed with and without our knowledge.

I searched a while to give this sloka lyric to Swami but since I could'nt get it, I have typed it myself in a Word document using a Ayyappa picture and Unicode Tamil and captured as JPG using Irfanview. I would like to share the same with other readers as well.

Nemili Bala (Tripura Sundari) Temple

Nemili Bala (Tripura Sundari) TempleA calm and poised atmosphere near Vellore, the most elegant town of Tamil Nadu in the district of Arakkonam is a village called Nemili. Seated in her own house, Sri Bala Tripura Sundari has been incessantly showering her blessings on Her devotees for several years. I have also heard of Her temple from my relatives but it is a significant truth cum stipulation that unless the Lordess wishes you to see you, it is becoming almost next to impossible to go to this temple. Even to search information on the website, I think, I could not locate it till now and just reached a YahooGroups website NemiliBala. I wanted to share a few info about this temple so that other pilgrims too can get benefitted by praying to the Lordess for Her darshan and blessings.Other temples of Tripura Sundari:ThiruvanmiyurTri SoolamThirukazhunkundramThiruvathiaiSirkazhiHistory of the Temple/Sthala Varalaru:The significance of Bala Tripura Sundari unlike Her other temples enlisted a…
