Agni Nakshitram starts on May 3 and ends on May 28

The peak summer period of South India, which we call in Tamil as Agni Nakshitram (அக்னி நக்ஷத்திரம்) has the following calendar days of significance this year:

  1. Starts on: May 3, 2008
  2. Ends on May 28, 2008
I just thought of sharing it with other readers so that we can prepare ourselves to greet the summer with as much precautions as possible to avoid sun-driven h ealth hazards and to stay cool indoors. You can also check out our earlier discussion on Summer 2007 over here.
