The pinch of Global Meltdown ...

The prickly pinch or hard punch of global meltdown does not and has not spared even public sector organizations in India. I just came across a situation when the SMS renewal to Connemara Public Library came back 'Not sent to: <>' message.

On calling, I found out the following reasons. There is now acute shortage and cost-cutting operations. Certain fancy features like SMS-based renewal etc. has been withdrawn.

This is another instruction for us. At least till the end of 2009, we should learn to be more conservative and refrain from being spendthrift. It always pays and help to save and particularly in challenged days like these.
