"Authoritative Begging" witnessed in Velachery Vijayanagar Terminus
& nbsp;
Today whilst connecting at Vijayanagar to Guindy whilst commuting at Tambaram, I had a chance to witness a beggar who was having some leg infection and had tied some cloth on it. He was using a support stick to help his mobility. He was seeking alms to everyone. Whilst this is a common scenario in Chennai the most disgusting part was that if the prospective donor that he was approaching was turning down his request, he started to shower expletives on each of the persons individually before moving to the next one. Most of them just were ignoring his deeds.
I think he should have great humility first rather than being an authoritiative on begging, what we call in Tamil as அதிகாரப்பிச்சை. Furthermore, the cops were mute spectators of this despite the fact that he was spreading infection through the stagnant water with his infected wounded leg wading through the same.<!--
