More Patronage to Farmers Market is Required
Today whilst commuting through Medavakkam I observed the Farmers Market (உழவர் சந்தை) premises in Medavakkam. Unlike other private markets the crowd is less and the surrounding/entrance areas is not maintained clean. These discourage people a little from using it though the quality of goods here is far superior. The nature of maintenance belittles its importance.
Would the public and civic administration uphold the value of Farmers Market. After all, India is celebrated as 'Land of Villages'. We should take pride of it to preserve the villages, agriculture and farming to ensure our country has the best name all around across the globe.<!--
