There is famous idiom which goes "If you pay peanuts you would end up getting monkeys". The most recent incident I got to confirm on this is through Airtel Call Home. They have a proud advertisement of 1¢ per minute to most of the countries. However what you get is truly the following:
- Choppy quality
- Frequent call drops and disconnections
- Privacy Frauds 1
- Mega Fraud
And don't ever think calling and complaining Airtel CustomerCare would elicit any concrete action. We already discussed this attitude of Bharti Airtel over our other case-study.
