Being a victim of Power Theft …

We are a victim of PowerTheft for the past six months. Our temporary connection has been tapped by a neighbor plot. Yesterday we requested the #AE to pull the #Fuse till the meter shifting is complete. The request got approved by the #AdditionalEngineer and then the linemen completed the task. No sooner did they thieves realize that their facility is getting plunged into darkness than they were mobilizing local constructor for a #compromise with us for a night to #LightUp using our power. We refused though we had to spend a night in darkness with mosquitoes. Notwithstanding the fact there were difficulties for even a #SeniorCitizen, we ensured we did not support illegal power diversions/distributions whatsoever which makes us feel proud.

We would file a review for the bills from #July to now with Electricity Board . We had filed a #PowerTheft petition right then and there yesterday itself. And a few minutes post the #TNEB linemen left pulling the plug, we found out some were trying to tamper the OverHead cables. A video enclosed for quick reference here.
